ABSIS is the artistic name of Salva Coromina, a staple of the Barcelona electronic scene since the late ’90s, originally performing under the alias mouseDown/MouseUp. He was a resident DJ at The Loft (Razzmatazz) and has been a regular at the Sónar festival for years. Throughout his career, he has delved deep into the realms of electronic music, moving fluidly between ambient and techno. Currently, ABSIS holds a residency at Laut in Barcelona, performing at the Midline parties and also at the MOSTRA festival. His productions have been released on labels such as Hivern Discs, Affin, and Oslated, among others. He is part of the Grabaciones Perpendiculares label and also works under various aliases in collaboration with other artists, such as Atàvic with Estrato Aurora, Absira with Marco Ragni, and Sonic Wave Collective with Spear and Cyklos.
