.Apart is the union of two friends who, among many other things, share a fascination for listening to the smallest details. Working with field recordings captured through all kinds of microphones, unusual synthesizers, and a strong commitment to concept and narrative, each of their live performances seeks to pay tribute to the space, history and culture of every place they perform in, through research, capture and improvisation.
Those of you who came last year already know what they are capable of in a LIVE format. This year they are taking on a wild commission from DIGIT: a multichannel installation in the natural environment. For now, we are not allowed to reveal any further details, but we will keep sharing more soon.
